Changing how you eat or exercise is far from easy. There will be times when you feel like giving up, not want to leave the house, lay on the sofa, order a domino’s and whack on your favourite series on Netflix. We all have days like that, but what matters is that we pick ourselves up and keep going.

Every single person has their good days and their bad days.

There will be days when you may have over indulged and feel like you’ve undone everything you’ve been working towards.

Days when you look in the mirror and convince yourself nothing has changed, i’m not making the progress I want.

Days you’ll compare yourself to people you see on social media, thinking, why am I not like that, or why are they progressing quicker than I am.

The truth is we all have those days. There will be ups and downs on your journey.

If you got a crack in your phone screen, you wouldn’t think I might as well keep adding cracks as it’s cracked all ready. You fix it.

There will be times you try to convince yourself you cant do it, but I can assure you, you’re making progress everyday and are 1 step closer to your goal.

There will be days, your alarm clock goes off and you bounce straight out of bed ready to take the world by storm and there will be days you’ll want to launch that alarm across the room.

We’ve all been there. These emotions are normal and everyone goes through them when trying to change their food and exercise habits, it doesn’t mean you should quit.

At times, you’ll feel like it’s trying to change the habits of a lifetime, but DO NOT give up, the journey really is a marathon not a sprint.

If you’re having one of those days, get yourself back in the game. Get your meal prep on, smash your workout or what every you should be doing today, DO IT, you’ll feel amazing knowing you’ve turned your day around.
